This satirical print was donated to the British Museum in 1855 by John Fillinham (a collector of prints and drawings). It is of interest here because, annotated in ink on the verso, is the following: "'William Harry Giffard Sercombe Born 28th April 1834. Walter Giffard Sercombe Born 16 June 1836". These were Mary Emma Sercombe's uncles, and the inscription infers that the print was once owned by the Sercombe family.
