Courtyard view of the residence of John 'Warrior' Wykes (c.1525-1591) and his wife Mary Giffard (d.1598). John is credited with completing the building of the mansion. North Wyke manor house in South Tawton, Devon was the seat of the Wyke (or Wykes) family from the 1242 to 1714,
