NORTH WYKE

Situated in South Tawton in Devon, North Wyke manor house was the seat of the Wyke (or Wykes) family from the 1242 to 1714, and was the family residence of John 'Warrior' Wykes (c.1525-1591) and his wife Mary Giffard (d.1598).
